Verlauf
Ihr Ausflug „Karnak & Luxor Tempeln unter fachkundiger Führung“ startet bereits in der Lobby Ihres Hotels in Hurghada. Wir nehmen Sie dort im Empfang und fahren mit einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug durch die Wüste und vorbei an Häusern und Feldern direkt nach Luxor. Ihr Reiseleiter wird Ihnen viel zu Land und Leuten erzählen.
Zu Beginn werden Sie den Karnak-Tempel im Tempelkomplex von Karnak erkunden. Der Karnak-Tempel ist die größte Tempelanlage Ägyptens. Die ältesten Baureste stammen aus der 12. Dynastie unter Sesostris I., und der Tempel wurde bis in die römische Kaiserzeit erweitert und umgebaut. Im Freilichtmuseum sehen Sie unter anderem die weiße und rote Kapelle, eine Statue der Kriegsgöttin Sachmet sowie die Reste des Tempels von Echnaton.
Nach 2,5 Stunden Fachinformationen genießen Sie ein Mittagessen mit ägyptischen Speisen auf einem Motorboot und haben dabei einen tollen Blick auf den Nil.
Über die kleine Sphingenallee erreichen Sie den Tempel der Mut. Mut war die Gefährtin des Gottes Amun bzw. Amun-Re und der Hauptkultort der Göttin Mut im alten Ägypten. Der Tempelbezirk ist von einer Mauer umgeben und umfasst unter anderem den Mut-Tempel, das Geburtshaus Ramses II., den Tempel Ramses III. und den Heiligen See.
Im südwestlichen Bereich des Karnak-Tempels finden Sie den Opet-Tempel, der der Göttin Opet gewidmet wurde und während der Ptolemäerzeit von Ptolemäus VIII. erbaut wurde. Hier gibt es einen unterirdischen Osirisgrab und eine Krypta, in der sich die Metamorphose des Gottes Amun-Re vollzogen haben soll.
Zum Abschluss besuchen Sie den Luxor-Tempel, der dem Gott Amun, seiner Gemahlin Mut und ihrem gemeinsamen Sohn Chons, dem Mondgott, gewidmet wurde. Der Tempel wurde während des Neuen Reiches erbaut und steht heute auf der UNESCO-Weltkulturerbeliste. Die Sphinx-Allee führt Sie direkt dorthin, und Sie können den ca. 3 km langen Weg zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto zurücklegen.
Nachdem Sie viele neue Eindrücke und Fachwissen gesammelt haben, fahren wir Sie zurück nach Hurghada in Ihr Hotel.
